Second Nature Asia Pacific - Catchment Studies
Primary School (K/P-Yr 6) Programs

Our Primary School programs have been specifically developed for this age group, and for a variety of learning abilities. Through all of our program options available to Primary Schools, students will gain a basic understanding and awareness of the importance of waterway ecosystems, via direct interaction with the natural environment (excursion) or through an interactive PPP with a variety of catchment items to pass around/ try (incursion). Learning objectives for Primary programs include:

  • Increasing awareness and knowledge on waterways
  • Investigating the diversity of waterway organisms
  • An introductory understanding on how waterway systems work
  • Increase awareness of impacts of human activities on waterways – both a global and local perspective

Our Secondary School programs have been developed for specific units of study within a variety of Secondary subjects (e.g. Biology, Geography, Science etc.) or tailored upon request.
